Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Processing and Service Agreement #2025273 for the purchase of new elections equipment from Election Systems and Software, LLC for the Williamson County Elections Department, in the amount of $1,137,300.00 and exempting Election Systems and Software, LLC from competitive bidding requirements per Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024(a)(7)(D) [discretionary exemption for captive replacement parts or components for equipment].

Approval of this Processing and Service agreement will approve the purchase, allowing the continued support of the operations of the Williamson County Elections Department. The Trump Administration has issued an executive order to eliminate bar codes on voting ballots. Wilco, in response to this directive, will be changing which ballots they use. The attached is for a Ballot on Demand system that will comply with the order. Origination #2966.
