Receive and acknowledge approval of Change Order No.1 from Flooring Solutions, Inc. for the Central Maintenance Facility Flooring Upgrade project in the amount of $6,315.00, and to extend time for completion of the flooring which was approved by Williamson County Project Manager, Daryl Mutz, pursuant to the Commissioners Court's prior delegation of change order approval authority pursuant to Loc. Gov't Code Sec. 262.031.

Background

The Change Order No. 1 was made to compensate the contractor, Flooring Solutions, Inc, in the amount of $6,315.00 as the originally selected flooring had been discontinued, so a new flooring selection was made and has an additional cost. This Change Order results in a net increase of $6,315. The original Contract amount was $63,487.00. As a result of this Change Order, the new contract sum is $69,802.00 and the new completion date is 9/23/25. Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, Daryl Mutz was delegated change order approval authority for this project on January 23, 2024, by the Commissioners Court pursuant to Loc. Gov't Code Sec. 262.031. This item is to acknowledge such approval and record same into the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
