Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 24 in the amount of $883,598.55 for Project 22IFB139 FM3349 at US79 (James Construction Group) P: 332 Funding Source: 2019 Road Bond in Commissioners Precinct 4.

This Change Order compensates the Contractor for constructing the UPRR shoo-fly and box culverts at US 79, per the required plan revisions. The final 100% plan set, issued after bid opening, includes the revised culvert and shoo-fly work. Quantity adjustments and new items were required, per the plan revisions. Multiple items will be added by this Change Order. Please see attached Change Order.  This Change Order resulted in a net increase of $883,598.55 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $85,324,158.69. The original Contract amount was $81,941,038.13.  As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $3,383,120.56 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 4.13% net increase in the Contract cost.  Ninety (90) additional days will be added to the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
