Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on formally closing out and not awarding #25IFB49 Portland Cement, due to the only bid submittal received exceeds Road and Bridge Department budget parameters, and approve the Contract# 2025320 quote for Portland cement with Ash Grove Cement with the attached unit pricing on vendor's quote.
Background
The Purchasing Department solicited sealed bids under IFB #25IFB49 for Portland Cement and invitations for bids were electronically sent to three hundred eighty-four (384) vendors with nineteen (19) document takers and one (1) submission bid was received that was outside the parameters of the R&B Department budgeted amount. In the event of no responsive bids being received, the Williamson County Purchasing policy allows for a quote to be utilized for the purchase for a period of twelve (12) months, per Local Government Code 262.0245 and Purchasing Policy. Budgeted amount $115,000. Funding source: 01.0200.0210.003597. Department Point of Contact is Kelly Murphy.
