Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Renewal #1 for Contract #23RFP101 with Texas Disposal Systems, Inc., to provide Solid Waste and Recycling Services for Williamson County, for the same annual amount of $139,400.28 with the same terms and conditions as the original agreement, for the term of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
Background
This Renewal #1 of Contract #23RFP101 is for Solid Waste and Recycling Services Agreement between Texas Disposal Systems, Inc. and Williamson County. The initial term of the agreement is November 21, 2023, through September 30, 2025. Renewal terms allow for twelve (12) month increments for up to an additional forty-eight (48) months. The original agreement was approved by Commissioners Court on November 21, 2023, Agenda Item #72. Renewal #1 is proposed under the same pricing, terms, and conditions as the existing contract. The Facilities Management Department requested Renewal #1 and confirmed the vendor has met all the County requirements for this contract. Funding source: 01.0100.0509.004430.
