Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a policy exception for the Parks Department to reclassify a position vacancy (PCN 1860).

Requesting reclassification of PCN 1860 from Maintenance Supervisor (pay grade B.23) to Expo Maintenance Tech II (pay grade B.19). This action will result in a salary savings for the County; no funding is needed. After filling the position multiple times at the Supervisor level, we found that it has not been effective for this operation. Existing leadership can direct the maintenance team and additional front-line workers are needed to maintain the operation.
