Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a 1st Amendment to Standard Agreement with Local Governmental Entity regarding Off-Duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies by and between Rancho Del Cielo Municipal Utility District, Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Williamson County, Texas relating to an amendment to the vehicle reimbursement amount.
Background
On March 25, 2025, the Standard Agreement with Rancho Del Cielo MUD was approved and executed on March 26, 2025, for a three-year period at a $14.00/hour vehicle reimbursement rate. On June 24, 2025, the Commissioners Court approved an increase effective October 1, 2025, to $15.00 per hour. Since the current Standard Agreement does not expire until September 30, 2027, the Sheriff's Office is presenting this 1st amendment with Rancho Del Cielo MUD for the vehicle rate increase.
