Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding an Antiquities Permit Application to the Texas Historical Commission (THC), required as part of the Due Diligence Environmental Investigation on the Corridor A2, Segment 2 project, a 2023 Road Bond project in Commissioner Precinct 4.
Background
The permit requests the approval of an intensive archaeological pedestrian survey with subsurface testing required by the Texas Historical Commission (THC) on Corridor A2, Segment 2 project. No investigations will take place until a permit is received from the Texas Historical Commission. Portions of the attached application have been redacted prior to placement on the court agenda, to protect restricted information. Redacted information will be included in the application to the Texas Historical Commission. Project: P681.
