Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Agreement #2025332, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) for use of the TEEX RELLIS campus facilities and training assets located at 200 Technology Way, College Station, Texas, 77845, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
This MOU establishes the terms under which the Williamson County Sheriff's Office will be granted access to the TEEX RELLIS Campus facilities located in College Station, Texas, for training purposes. The agreement with TEEX provides access to specialized training facilities and resources to support law enforcement operations and professional development. Currently, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office uses the drive track at TEEX for our Emergency Vehicle Operation Course (EVOC) Training. The MOU will remain in place for a one-year term starting on the day of execution. Even though no funds are being requested at this time, the funding for training will come from line 01.0100.0560.004232 for FY26. Origination #3139. Form 1295 is not required due to contracting with a governmental entity. The department's point of contact is Starla Hall.
