Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with Santa Rita Ranch Municipal Utility District (#19) for off-duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective January 1, 2026.
Background
This is a new agreement for Santa Rita Ranch MUD. This new agreement will give permission for Santa Rita Ranch MUD to contract County Sheriff Deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice that MUD for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on January 1, 2026 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2026 and October 1, 2027. The agreement will be revisited with proper approval from the Commissioners Court for October 1, 2028 (FY'29).
