Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement #2026-038 between Lexipol, LLC and Williamson County Sheriff's Office for Police One Academy annual online subscription services in the amount of $23,171.00 and exempting this purchase from the competitive bidding requirement per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions §262.024 (a)(7)(A) items for which competition is precluded because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processes or monopolies, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.  The Sheriff’s Office first started using the Police One training platform after it was approved by the Commissioner’s Court on 3.09.2021.  The training platform was chosen for its comprehensive approach to law enforcement education.  It offers a range of training solutions that cater to the needs of public safety leaders, ensuring high-quality training and effective monitoring of training programs.  The platform supports the required ongoing staff training and facilitates the assignment and management of training sessions.  The subscription agreement attached outlines the subscription services for five hundred (500) users for a period of twelve (12) months. This subscription has been approved by the Budget Office and Information Services.
