Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Addendum #2026-098 between Williamson County and West Publishing Corporation and/or Thomson Reuters Enterprise Centre GmbH for a Westlaw Proflex Subscription pursuant to TX MSA DIR-CPO-5258 (TXM1) for 36 months, with 5% increase in year two and year three (Year one: $74,202.60; Year two: $77,912.76; Year three: $81,808.44), not to exceed $233,923.80 for the 3 years.
Background
The approval of this item will benefit the operations of the Williamson County Attorney's office by providing access for their attorneys and support staff to case law and other research tools. The attached agreement contains more detailed information regarding the subscription. General Counsel, Contract Audit, Budget, and the Auditor's Office have reviewed this agreement. Funding source is 01.0100.0475.004210 for FY26 Origination #3671. The company is publicly traded, therefore no 1295 form is necessary. The department point of contact is Stephanie Lloyd.
