Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding an amendment to the agreement between Williamson County and LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. relating to the participation of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in the Austin Police Department’s Austin Regional Intelligence Center (ARIC). The Sheriff’s Office participation in ARIC was originally approved by the Commissioners Court on September 6, 2016, Item #67, and this item also addresses updates to the LexisNexis Agreement Contract #2025269 approved on July 1, 2025, Agenda Item #21.

Request approval for the agreement between Williamson County and LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. for the benefit of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. This agreement supports the Sheriff’s Office's participation in the Austin Police Department’s Austin Regional Intelligence Center ARIC. The Sheriff’s Office is an established ARIC partner as previously approved by Commissioners Court on September 6, 2016, Item #67 and this item also reflects the relationship with LexisNexis, Agreement Contract #2025269 approved on July 1, 2025, Agenda Item #21.  The Sheriff’s Office will use the annual sustainment budget to access Real Time Crime Center search services on an as-needed basis provided by LexisNexis through funding source 01.0100.0560.004100 point of contact Virginia Johnson.
