Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the agreement with Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center, DBA Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) to provide wrap-around services to reduce homelessness and increase housing sustainability in Williamson County.
Public Background
Bluebonnet Trails began the Homelessness Prevention program in January 2024. Since the inception of the program in January 2024 through October 2025, there have been seventeen (17) individuals who have received permanent housing at Community First Village and another fifteen (15) that have been assisted in securing other alternate permanent housing. The Homelessness Prevention team receives referrals from the county jail, Williamson County psychiatric hospitals, and law enforcement officers, and first responders. The allocation from the Tobacco Account was agenda item #51, which was approved by the Commissioners Court on 9/23/2025. The agreement has been reviewed by legal and the Auditor's Office.
