Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to authorize the Williamson County Sheriff's Office to apply for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant.

The Sheriff's Office is seeking to apply for a grant through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. This grant would provide an inflatable rescue boat, trailer, and accessories for use by our Swiftwater Rescue team. The total amount of the grant is approximately $35,519.00 and no match is required. Staff recommends the following action:  Authorize the Sheriff's Office to apply for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant and permit appropriate County department personnel to complete documentation relevant to its implementation.
