Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Resolution recognizing Alan McMillin for his years of dedicated service to Williamson County as an American Red Cross volunteer and partner to the Williamson County Office of Emergency Management.

Alan McMillin served Williamson County for six years as an External Relations Volunteer Lead and Government Liaison with the American Red Cross, concluding more than eleven years of total Red Cross service in January 2026. During his service, Mr. McMillin worked closely with the Williamson County Office of Emergency Management and other county partners to strengthen local preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities. He assisted in identifying and securing fifteen shelter facilities across the County and regularly supported Emergency Operations Center activations, including the July 2025 flood event. In addition to his local service, he deployed to eight national disaster operations and brought back important lessons from those responses.
