Juvenile Services is requesting approval to accept a $49,697.00 grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife to provide outdoor programming for youth.  Juvenile Services has participated in the grant since 2005, successfully providing hiking, biking, fishing, camping and paddling, rock-climbing and other activities for youth.  The grant will cover the entire cost of these activities and has no in-kind match requirement.  Approval to apply for this grant was granted to Juvenile Services at the 8/19/2025 Commissioners Court meeting.
