The Assistant General Counsel II (PCN 0719) position is vacant with a budgeted salary of $130,122.87. Additional funding is requested to increase the position’s budget and allow hiring above the policy limit of 15% above the minimum of the pay grade. The desired new budget for the position is $150,000. This amount can be supported by vacancy savings for the remainder of FY26; however, additional funding will be required to maintain this level for FY27 and future fiscal years. This request has been discussed with HR and Budget. The Budget has confirmed the position funding savings will cover the newly requested amount for FY26. HR is in support of this request.
