Public Background
Juvenile Services is requesting approval to apply for a $142,000.00 grant from the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to purchase a body scanner, ADA ramp and a 24-month warranty. This new technology will enhance the safety of staff and all others entering the facility. There are no matching funds required from the County for this grant.
