Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a First Amended and Restated Real Estate Professional Consulting Services Agreement between Williamson County, Texas and McAllister & Associates; and exemption of those services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).

Williamson County entered into a Real Estate Professional Consulting Services Agreement with McAllister & Associates in July 2025.  This First Amended and Restated Real Estate Professional Consulting Services Agreement provides for a one-time retainer fee that will be credited with any commissions earned on the sale of county properties and adds services relating to leasing property for Williamson County in addition to the services what were included under the prior original agreement that related to buying and selling properties for the county.
