Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for Emergency Management.

We are requesting a line item transfer in the amount of $11,300.00 to cover the purchase of IT-approved software for EOC activations. The key benefits of this new software include: increased operational efficiency, addressing critical capability gaps identified from the July 2025 Flood, enhanced situational awareness through real-time dashboards and automated data integration, improved documentation and records management, and greater interoperability with partner agencies and improved coordination across County departments during emergency operations. The limitations of our current software, WebEOC, have led numerous agencies, including Travis County, Hays County, McLennan County, and the City of Austin, to transition to this more modern platform. This software can be implemented before the fiscal year-end and will be a continuous tool for future activations.
