Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing temporary exception to competitive bidding and extend the current Merchant Credit Card contract with Certified Payments for an additional three months through March 31, 2018 in support of necessary county operations, including but not limited to law enforcement and safety.

Background

Proposals have been received under RFP #1708-179 for new contract services and are currently going through evaluation with expected completion date to be on or before April 1, 2018.  The new contract term would be from date of court award for 12 months with 3 annual renewal options pending court approval.
