Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB # 1806-237 Metal Beam Guard Fence In Place to the lowest responsive bidder RHB Construction.
Background
Purchasing solicited sealed bids for metal beam guard fence in place. Thirty-two (32) vendors viewed the IFB and one (1) vendor responded. After reviewing the bid received, Road & Bridge has determined that the bid was responsive and based on past positive experience with RHB Construction is recommending them for award with a contract amount of $279,470.00. The contract term will be from September 8, 2018 to September 7, 2019 with 2 annual renewal options. The department point of contact is Terron Evertson. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0200.0210.003599. Funding was approved in the FY2018 budget.
