Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of AgendaQuick annual software maintenance in the amount of $6,520.00 and exempting Destiny Software, Inc. from competitive bidding requirements per Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024(a)(7)(D) discretionary exemption for captive replacement parts or components for equipment.

Approval of this item will support the integral operations of the Williamson County Commissioner's Court.  AgendaQuick was recognized and approved as a sole sourced product by the Purchasing Agent and Commissioner's Court in 2016.  Subsequent maintenance agreements are then considered captive.  That sole source designation recently expired, however.  AgendaQuick annual software maintenance covers a period from 10/1/2021-9/30/2022 at a price of $6,520.00.  It is the Purchasing Agent's recommendation that prior to FY23 the Information Technology Department solicit quotes and look at cooperative options for this service to be in compliance with the County Purchasing Act.  Department contact is Richard Semple.  This expenditure will be charged to FY22 01.0100.0503.004505.
