Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Service Agreement for Paint Booth Maintenance between Kayco Spray Booths, Inc. and Williamson County in the amount of $7,900.00 and exempting this purchase from the competitive bidding requirements for said service established by Texas Local Government code 262.024 (a)(7)(D) captive replacement parts and components for equipment.

Background

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Fleet Department.  On 08/04/2020 the Commissioner's Court approved substantial upgrades for the two (2) paint spray booths in the Fleet Department.  Only Kayco Spray Booths, Inc, is able to provide the maintenance due to them being the manufacturer of the existing equipment.  The service agreement and quote are attached outlining what is included in the annual maintenance.  Legal, Contract Audit and Budget have reviewed this purchase.  This expenditure will be charged to FY22 01.0882.0882.004500.  Department contact is Kevin Teller.
