Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Agreement between Williamson County and Mobile Wireless LLC, in the amount of $68,564.45, to provide NetMotion VPN platform functionality, per the terms of DIR Contract #DIR-CPO-4723, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this agreement provides NetMotion functionality to Williamson County's first responders. The platform gives full network access through a Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPN is the system used to provide secure access from a remote location. This is achieved using encryption over a public internet network. This platform allows staff to "work remotely" through the internet. Agreement runs 11/16/22 through 11/15/23. Legal, Contract Audit, IT and Budget have reviewed this renewal. The funding source being charged is 01.0100.0523.004505 FY23. The Department point of contact is Rory Tierney.
