Background
Earlier this year when the Williamson County Mobile Outreach Team disbanded, one of the Mental Health Specialists remained employed by Williamson County and was temporarily assigned to assist the Sheriff's Office CIT division. Now that we are approaching a new fiscal year, the Commissioners Court will need to determine a permanent supervisory structure, along with a funding source, and job duties for this role.
