Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the transfer of the 2008 Command Bus (CV3) to Blanco County and authorizing Judge Gravell to sign any necessary documents to complete said transfer.

In the spring of 2009, Williamson County applied for and received a Homeland Security Grant to fund a regional response command vehicle.  In partnership with the Capitol Area Trauma Regional Advisory Council, the Williamson County Fire Chief’s Association and the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG), Williamson County was able to make this purchase in January 2010.  While this command vehicle has benefited the region immensely in times of disaster, recovery and law enforcement response and supported incidents at the local, regional and state levels, it has now served its useful life.  Because funding was made possible through CAPCOG, this asset was offered back to our regional partners and Blanco County has accepted.
