Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $4,058.92 for Project T5023 CR 200 Reconstruction (MA Smith Contracting) P: 285 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds an item for Concrete Driveways to the Contract. The plans called out asphalt driveways into the City of Liberty Hill Park, but the existing driveways were concrete. The City of Liberty Hill requested the driveways be reconstructed with concrete. The asphalt driveway quantity was reduced to reflect this change.

This Change Order results in a net increase of $4,058.92 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $5,006,372.13. The original Contract amount was $4,975,515.09.  As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $30,857.04 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 0.62% net increase in the Contract cost.  No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
