Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $294,199.97 for Project CR 404 at FM 973 Improvements (Jordan Foster) P: 390 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order adjusts quantities for several items on the project and adds new items due to unforeseen circumstances in the field. Multiple items will be added via this Change Order. Please see attached.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $294,199.97 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $4,916,343.90. The original Contract amount was $4,622,143.93. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $294,199.97 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 6.37% net increase in the Contract cost.
