Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Agreement #202466 between Williamson County and Recovery Monitoring Solutions, LLC. for Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM) services, and authorize the execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this agreement would allow Pre-Trial Services to comply with a court order for SCRAM services that will be funded by the county for an indigent defendant ordered to install the device as a condition of release on bond. The cost for services is $9.00 per day. Pre-Trial Services will engage in a review of the individual's indigence status every 90 days to determine if county funding should continue. The length of the agreement is one year. Funding source is 01.0100.0591.004100 as per FY24 budget. Department contact is Jamie Carillo. Recovery Monitoring Solutions, LLC. is a publicly-traded company, which does not require Form 1295.
