Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing Agreement #202471 for West Proflex Patron Access for Williamson County Law Library with West Publishing Corporation and/or Thomson Reuters Enterprise Centre GmbH for a 36-month term commencing 12.01.23 through 11.30.26, and authorize the execution of the agreement. Year one monthly charge is $378.17, resulting in an annual fee of $4,538.04.
Background
The approval of this purchase will benefit the operations of Williamson County by providing access for judges, attorneys and support staff to case law and other research tools. The expense is funded through 01.0350.0680.003030 for FY24. Year two will be billed $397.08 monthly, and the monthly charge for year three is $416.93. The department point of contact is Andrea Schiele. The company is publicly traded, and does not require a Form 1295.
