Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Contract #2024166, the rental and delivery of 2 Dump Trucks to the Central Maintenance Facility to the Road and Bridge Department, in the amount of $43,160.00 utilizing Omnia cooperative contract 2019000318 and authorize execution of the Rental Agreement with Herc Rentals.
Background
Williamson County Road and Bridge Department's purpose of the truck rentals is to supplement our hauling capacity in order to meet production rates for their resurfacing program. R&B will continue to use their own equipment. However, due to truck breakdowns and material delivery needs, the use of Dump Truck rentals from Herc Rentals is essential to maintaining prep work schedule. The funding source is 01.0200.0210.004620 for $43,160.00 and Jenifer Favreau is the point of contact for this project.
