Agenda Item
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on Amendment No. 3 to Second County Addendum for Interlocal Agreement on Private Psychiatric Hospital Beds Necessary During Covid-19 with Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) for the operation of the Youth Therapeutic Respite Program.
Background
This amendment does not change the budget amount awarded to Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) to renovate the 5,500 square feet within their 1009 N. Georgetown Street location in Round Rock and to operate the Youth Therapeutic Respite Program, which opened in March 2022. The revised agreement has few changes that will enable BTCS to continue to provide services and effectively use the allocated funds. The main changes in the revised agreement include the changing of the date to extend operations of the program through 2026, formatting changes, and correction of funding source from C.F.D.A. 21.027 to A.L.N. 21.027. The funds will continue to allow BTCS to provide therapeutic services to youth needing crisis services with the purpose of reunifying youths and their families.
The revised agreement has been reviewed by Contract Audit, Auditor's Office and Legal.
