Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the Grants Management form and request of County Court at Law #2 to apply for a Texas Bar Foundation grant to support the specialty treatment court Misdemeanor DWI/Drug Court.

The Williamson County DWI/Drug Court Program (DDCP) is requesting funding through the Texas Bar Foundation Grant Program for enhancement of services offered in the DDCP. The grant request would continue covering the costs of substance use monitoring for participants in the program and the cost of software used for assessments and our data information management software. CCL2 will continue its mission to enhance public safety by providing supervision and treatment to offenders through a judicially supervised, therapeutic Court that ensures accountability and recovery.  

The amount requested in the grant is $31,791.  There is no match required for this local grant from the Texas Bar Foundation, which is a private foundation.
