Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the engagement of the law firm The Mullen Firm PLLC to represent Williamson County in the provision of legal services to the Williamson County Sheriff, including services relating to labor and employment matters and representation of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in proceedings before the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Civil Service Commission; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Texas Local Government Code § 262.024(a)(4).
