Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #25RFP43 Virtual Reality Training Systems to Street Smarts VR, Inc., in the amount of $131,750.00, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
The Purchasing Department solicited sealed proposals under RFP #25RFP43 Virtual Reality Training System. There were one hundred seventy-two (172) invitations sent out, twelve (12) document takers and one (1) submission received. The evaluation team recommends awarding #25RFP43 to Street Smarts VR due to their software training library with over forty (40) pre-scripted scenarios. Street Smarts VR completed the response in its entirety, meets the requested scope of work and most closely aligns with the desired system attributes. In addition, Street Smarts VR offers a sixty (60) month software warranty along with sixty (60) months of software updates to include the latest builds and newest features. This purchase. Funding is from 01.0100.0560.005008 for FY25. Origination #790. Department point of contact is Chief J.D. Carmona.
