Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to authorize an Amendment to Contract #T1289 with Heart of Texas Landscape & Irrigation Co., to include landscaping services for an additional $5,294 per year for the new West Arena at the Expo Center under the existing service agreement during renewal period #3 for the term of September 30, 2025, through September 30, 2026, and authorizing the renewal amendment.

The Parks Department has confirmed that the vendor meets all County requirements and requests the Amendment to include the West Arena in the current service agreement. The current contract is set to automatically renew on September 30, 2025, and expire on September 30, 2026. The West Arena is scheduled for completion after October 1, 2025, and the amendment would take effect upon its completion. The additional service will add $5,294 per year for a revised contract total, including all previous amendments, of $251,952, which remains within the 25% allowable increase threshold.
