Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the software purchase and Contract #2025257 between Williamson County and Thomson Reuters Enterprise Centre GmbH to purchase CLEAR Proflex and CLEAR Government Investigations for a 36-month subscription in the amount of $20,655.12, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-CPO-5258 and authorizing the execution of the purchase.

This software purchase and contract will benefit Williamson County through the purchase of CLEAR Proflex for the Death Inquest Investigators.  This software will assist with Death Inquests for Driver's Licenses, Social Security Numbers, and next of kin/relative verification of descendants.  This software will support the Death Inquest Investigators with the ability to search multiple data banks at one time. This purchase is for a 3-year subscription.  Year one will be at $546.00 per month, year two will include a 5% increase to $573.30 per month, and year three will include a 5% increase to $601.96 per month.  The funding source is 01.0100.0566.004210 for FY25.  Origination #2768.  The department's point of contact is Rebecca Pruitt. The vendor is publicly traded. Therefore, a 1295 Form is not required.
