Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Service and Goods Agreement #2025259 between Williamson County and Links Communications, Inc. to provide and install cabling for additional WI-FI access points in the Administration area of the Juvenile Justice Center at 200 Wilco Way, Georgetown, TX 78626, in the amount of $3,268.00, authorizing the execution of the service agreement and exempting the purchase from competitive bidding through Local Government Code 262.024 (7)(A)(c) electric, gas, power, water or utility service.

This service and goods agreement will benefit Williamson County by providing and installing new Wi-Fi access points in the Administration area at the Juvenile Justice Center.  The cabling work in this proposal will allow for additional Wi-Fi access points to be installed at five (5) locations.  Each location will receive a new Cat6A cable, surface box, and patch cable.  Links Communications, Inc. will provide all the networking equipment and installation for each of the additional access points.  Links will terminate cables on the existing patch panel, install four (4) APs in the administration hallways and label and test the new cables.  The funding source is 01.0100.0503.004100 for FY25 in the amount of $3,268.00.  Origination #2884.
