Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 9 in the amount of $26,604.48 for Project 23IFB8 Corridor H - Sam Bass Road (Cash Construction) P: 462 Funding Source: 2019 Road Bond in Commissioner Precinct 3.

This Change Order adds an item to locate a Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District (BCMUD) waterline tee that was not identified in the plans. This Change Order also adds an item for additional sidewalk width to align the bridge curb and gutter with the roadway curb and gutter. This Change Order removes the 6-foot privacy fence item and replaces it with a new 8-foot privacy fence item that matches the existing fence. This Change Order adds an item to lower existing water vault lids to match the proposed Share Used Path (SUP) elevation. Lastly, this Change Order adds an additional Gate Valve item, time and materials to locate the existing Gate Valve. The City of Round Rock will reimburse the County $10,375.57 for the additional gate valve and 8-foot privacy fence. Please see the attached Change Order for additional information. This Change Order results in a net increase of $26,604.48 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $34,486,388.44. The original Contract amount was $36,145,959.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $1,659,570.56 has been deducted from the Contract, resulting in a 4.59% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
