Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Service Agreement and Contract #2025292 with Texas Correctional Industries for the purchase and installation of office furniture for the District Attorney's Office, in the amount of $9,602.00, pursuant to Cooperative Contract Smart Buy #425-A5, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

The agreement with Williamson County and Texas Correctional Industries (TCI) will provide quality-made furniture for our District Attorney's office at a reasonable cost. TCI's statutory objectives are found in Texas Government Code §497.002, and are to provide work program participants with marketable job skills, help reduce recidivism and reduce department costs by providing products and services. TCI products are required to meet specifications established and regulated by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. SPD is the procurement authority for all state agencies in Texas and coordinates the majority of inter-agency sales of goods and services provided by TCI. Funding source is 01.0100.0440.003005 for FY25.  Origination #2983.  Department's point of contact is Gloria Favela.  A 1295 Form is not needed.
