Receive and acknowledge approval of Change Order No.1 from Environmental Logistics Co, LLC for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office Firing Range Lead Remediation project in the amount of $10,800.00, which was approved by Williamson County Sr. Project Manager, Angel Gomez, pursuant to the Commissioners Court's prior delegation of change order approval authority pursuant to Loc. Gov't Code Sec. 262.031.

Background

The Change Order No. 1 was made to compensate the contractor, Environmental Logistics Company, LLC, in the amount of $10,800.00, as the original site condition was found to have gravel and dirt compacted with lead and rubber, requiring additional equipment and labor to separate materials and has an additional cost. This Change Order results in a net increase of $10,800.00 with no additional contract time. The original contract amount was $43,500.00. As a result of this Change Order, the new contract sum is $54,300.00. Williamson County Facilities Sr. Project Manager, Angel Gomez was delegated change order approval authority for this project on January 23, 2024, by the Commissioners Court pursuant to Loc. Gov't Code Sec. 262.031. This item is to acknowledge such approval and record same into the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
