Background
Amendment 4 for Sheriff's Office/Corrections with Aramark Correctional Services provides a meal price adjustment due to changes in the Consumer Price Index, to provide Jail Inmates food services. The current Amendment 3 to Jail Inmate Food Service Contract, 21RFP24 Amendment 3 Price Increase, expires November 22, 2025, and Amendment 4 would extend past the current date to November 23, 2026, for a cost of $1,210,000. The Contract Renewal for Aramark to provide Food Service was approved on August 19, 2025, Agenda Item 58 Aramark Food Service County Jail Renewal 10.1.2025 through 9.30.2026. Funding source is 01.0100.0570.003306. Point of Contact: Abigail Taylor. The vendor is a publicly traded company, therefore Form 1295 is not required.
