Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the appointment of Andre Woods as Deputy Constable for Constable Precinct 1 pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 86.011.
Background
Andre Woods has been selected to fill the open Deputy position at Constable Precinct 1 after having passed an extensive background investigation. Prior to accepting the position at Pct. 1, Woods has been a Deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office since 2020. Prior to working at the Sheriff's Office, he was Police Officer with the City of Hewitt. Woods is a US Army Veteran and resident of Georgetown.
