Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a 1st Amendment to the Standard Agreement with Local Governmental Entity regarding Off-Duty contracting of County Sheriff's Deputies by and between the City of Coupland, Williamson County Sheriff's Office and Williamson County, Texas relating to an amendment to the vehicle reimbursement amount.
Background
On May 20, 2025, the Standard Agreement with the City of Coupland was approved and executed on May 21, 2025, for a three-year period at a $14.00/hour vehicle reimbursement rate. On June 24, 2025, the Commissioners Court approved an increase effective October 1, 2025, to $15.00 per hour. Since the current Standard Agreement does not expire until September 30, 2027, the Sheriff's Office is presenting this 1st amendment to the City of Coupland for the vehicle rate increase.
