Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request by County Court at Law 2 to apply for an Adult Treatment Court Enhancement Grant offered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance to support the Williamson County DWI/Drug Court Program.

The Adult Treatment Court Program Enhancement Grant was released in March 2026. Grant applications are due on May 4, 2026. This grant is a reimbursement grant with a 25% In-Kind match requirement. The purpose of the funding is to provide enhanced services for the CCL2 DWI/ Drug Court Program to provide specialized treatment court services to continue its mission to enhance public safety by providing supervision and treatment to offenders through a judicially supervised court that ensures accountability and recovery. This grant would provide additional services that would also reduce recidivism.
