Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of ($226,812.56) for Project 26IFB1 CR 460 Reconstruction (Liberty Civil Construction).

This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overruns/underruns of Contract quantities on the project that are a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. This Change Order also revises quantities per the revisions from RFI #6 which lowered the roadway profile due to incorrect driveway tie-in grades. This change also flattened out the front slope along the east side of the roadway, which increased safety along the roadway.
This Change Order results in a net decrease of $226,812.56 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $1,601,731.44. The original Contract amount was $1,828,544.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $226,812.56 has been deducted from the Contract, resulting in a 12.4% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
