Discuss and take appropriate action regarding approval of the Texas Conviction Reporting (TXCR) Interlocal Cooperation Contract with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Driver License Division.

The Texas Department of Public Safety, Driver License Division, has implemented a new web-based system for electronically reporting final convictions, known as the Texas Conviction Reporting (TXCR) interface. This system replaces all paper-based processes and the current electronic file submission method. TXCR provides real-time upload capability, allowing court users to review successful submissions, prevent duplicate entries, and view and correct rejected convictions immediately.
Effective January 1, 2027, all final convictions submitted to the Department must be reported through TXCR. Use of the portal requires an executed TXCR Interlocal Cooperation Contract (ICC) prior to implementation.
Staff requests approval of the enclosed TXCR Interlocal Cooperation Contract to sign and return to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
