Reason for Recommended Action/Background
In accordance with the Mitigation Fee Act contained in California Government Code sections 66000 et seq., the County is required to make available for review an annual report of the disposition of the County's Development Impact Fees (DIF). The currently adopted fees have been included with the adopted Master Fee Schedule.
Staff have performed the DIF fund analysis for the 2022-23 fiscal year, and the report is attached. The report describes the various fees that the County currently collects, the beginning and ending balance of each fee fund, and the public improvement projects funded during the fiscal year.
Additionally, Fire Districts with approved development impact fee programs are required to submit their annual reports by October 31. The reports for Capay, Dunnigan, Clarksburg, Knights Landing, Madison, Winters, and Yolo Fire Protection Districts are attached (Attachments A-G). The Annual Development Impact Fee Report is attachment H, which details expenditures, fees, and calculated interest.
